Pocky...where???

If you don't know what Pocky is, it is basically a light thin biscuit stick dipped in something like chocolate or strawberry...

...Anyway, on to the point of the thread:

Yesterday I went in suncoast, and it was there! Who would suspect that a media store would have a whole shelf of it?? I hope...no...pray that it stays there forever, although I doubt it will. So, anyone else like it? Know where else to get it in the United States?

No idea where to get it in the states, but in Canada you can get it from the Great Canadian Super Store. I would suspect that you can buy it in the states from places heavily populated by Japanese or Asian ppl, or a specialty store, but I don't know the states ~munches on giant Pockey I found in Osaka~

They sell it in a chain of stores down here in Southern Texas. H.E.B. The only grocery store. ;x They also sell it at some of the Japanese resturants that are constantly spawning. Like... Shogun Japanese Steak House. ;D

I find Pocky everywhere I go, but you can definately or most likely find it in Asian supermarkets/grocery stores.

You can get pocky at movie stores like Suncoast that sell anime products in the U.S.

LoL Pocky is good, but I like Yan Yan too. I like Chocolate cookie stick or whatever it is, as long as it's chocolate ^_^ dipped with vanillia. at the lao store the sell them for like 79 cents a box. and at mitsuwa they sell them for like 1.35 for a bigger box (looks like two and a half boxes worth or something, you know, the big boxes...)

LOL, funny you should say that. Yeah I totally like eating that stuff. It's pretty good. I also like eating this Korean pastry too, I forgot what it's called but it's really crispy on the out side and it has veggies, meat and it's really moist and creamy inside.

besides sweet stuff, there is gum, ramen, and if you're lucky, your mitsuwa (once again, if you're lucky enuf to be close to one) has a small food court, then theres always the fresh hot meals that they turn out. beef udon and such.

All pocky is great! Except the milk one, which just tastes like eating powdered milk.

Oh and as long as you chew it! If you suck it it tastes terrible.

Actually I don’t enjoy the end section which hasn’t been dipped, so I save my ends in a piggy bank with the intention of one day using them to build a model, not decided what yet, probably a ship or small fort surrounded by miniature pocky trees?

I just searched for the number of types of pocky and some guy listed 25 and said there was many more available... and 4 of those were almond flavour!?! Its like an entire almond pocky line! But if you’re like me you can either get milk, chocolate, choc-banana or strawberry... Manchester doesn’t exactly have a thriving pocky community so we almost never get more than the basic pocky’s.
